Commissions
Work is quoted per day against a written brief covering the building, the access arrangements and the delivery date. A day booked and then cancelled inside seven days is charged in full; outside that, it is not charged at all.
Where the weather fails the light plan for a building's orientation, the day is rebooked at no charge. That is treated as a scheduling matter rather than a photographic one.
Licence
Delivered images carry an unlimited, perpetual, non-exclusive licence for the commissioning practice's own use, including its website, awards submissions, printed matter, social channels and monographs. The licence cannot be transferred by sale.
Parties who were not the client — contractors, product manufacturers, agents — are licensed separately. Editorial and press use is free and needs no permission. No licence is granted for resale as stock, or for use in training a generative model.
Copyright remains with the photographer in all cases.
People in photographs
Where a commission includes photography of a building in use, consent is arranged in advance with the building's operator and notices are displayed. Nobody is photographed in a way that makes them identifiable. Any person who asks to be removed from an image is removed from it, without argument and at no cost.
Prints
Prints are made to order and signed on the reverse. Edition sizes and remaining counts are stated on the Prints page and are not revised upward.
Because each print is made individually, an order can be cancelled before it goes to print but not after. A print that arrives damaged is replaced. Orders are placed and fulfilled through an external marketplace, whose own terms apply to the sale.
